@@billho1799 And you believe that? With all the maginificent engineers BMW have they could have engineered the car to look sporty but whilst still retaining this iconic feature of BMW Tourings. As BMW Blog replied above more like a cost cutting excersice!

@@joebloggs4191 In product development, anything may be possible for a price. There may be technical challenges and for the feature, it may not be worth to do for the R&D and manufacturing costs. There’s also the don’t do it as an outright pre-decision so one doesn’t waste R&D money and ultimately increase the build cost.

Considering how much more long distance travelers US guys are vs EU, it is VERY strange decision not to sell g61 diesel in US. Must be legislation that is blocking it.
