30k subs is great Derek getting bigger and better every day well done to you and the team. The BMW is a really nice car and looks great but for me the price is a bit much for what you get. If i was spending that money i would probably get a Polstar 4 over this but that said BMW do have a very loyal customer bace.

Some nice moves but its not a dedicated ev so missing out on bits also. Kidney grill still too large for my taste. Great estate and great finish. Could have an ev9 and change for the price. And captains chairs. I think i'd have the ev9. But is the BMW competing against the EV9? Des

Great review and also congrats on the 30k subs. The first thing which strikes me is I much prefer BMW’s take on premium UI/UX than the awful Mercedes stuff. Secondly this is not the size of car I would ever buy. That said I am sure the engineering is wonderful, as would be true of Mercedes or Audi/VW. At €113k it is absurd and given I would want 4WD €120k starting before options is even more absurd. I could get 3 to 4 Mini ALL4s which is BMW’s entry brand, and probably have more fun. At some point most people are going to notice they do not need a more than €120k of car which is likely to be idle for over 90% of any twenty four hour period.

I5 is one of my least favourite BMW. For a RWD to have such a long bonnet but yet no frunk, it's out of proportion. Total non-starter for me.

Derek ... Oh dear! In a BMW and using the indicators provided. As any driver on Irish roads can attest, no BMW driver ever uses their indicators. First thing you should have done was rip out the indicator stalk as clearly it must not be used!
