How did you get the KZbin app on there, and the other custom apps? Do you need the eSim? Hack android auto? Is it also available on xdrive50 without M package?

Are the Shortcut configurable? I would like to have on the right side the navigation and on the left in two smaller Widgets the Vehiclestatus with the fuel-economy and in the second the media. Is this possible ? Tanks for the video as a hopefully soon bmw x1 owner I’m looking forward to OS9

By the way, any idea how to remove the song/artist notifications after you set them on iDrive? I accidentally added the Beatles to notifications on SiriusXM. I didn't realize they have a dedicated channel so I now get a notification every couple minutes on another Beatles song. It's very annoying and I cannot find a way to remove it. Any ideas? Thank you!!!

What is the version of iDrive8.5 do you show here? I see you have a lot more tiles(widgets) on the left than what I have. I saw a clock and weather tile when you were scrolling and I do not have this (I have version 07/2023.67). Also the main screen that you pull from the right I also have only 3 selections (Navigation, Live Vehicle, Media) and you seem to have 2 additional ones (My Modes and Weather)...

Waaaaaay too much in the home screen. Lack of hard buttons for essentials really kills any desire for any new bmw, and not only is it completely illogical it's also a very dangerous.

I get this sentiment, but it’s even easier to use the voice activated assistant in all of these new cars, which in theory is easier than buttons.

When you have to touch everything while driving 65 mile per hour instead of just depressing a lever... thats just stupid. These cars are for the iPad generation, not those that actually want to drive and have minimal tech. No more BMW's for me. They're crap.
