BMW K1200S cam chain guide causes cam cover leak PART 1

Good evening Mr Romullan! I do have the same problem on my 2007 k1200s leaking oil on the valve cover gasket because of cam chain guide. I replaced the gasket but after while started leaking again. According with your video you said, to take one mm off around the valve cover?

I saw on a forum that someone took a couple of mm off the top of the guide leak stopped ! I have an oil leak but not sure exactly the area but took fairing panel off and it is down that side. I’ll wash it down tomorrow then take for a spin as another post said it wouldn’t leak on idle. What you do in the end.

wasnt this recalled by bmw? What was the milleage? does this mean that this bike is not that reliable? Thnaks
