In a tiny everyone knows everyone town yeah a black bmw would probably be a instant give away. As someone who has hit their statue of limitations years ago I have ran from the police and escaped very easily and nothing came of it and nothing with ever come of it now shy of people thinking I'm a bad person. It also depends on the department some won't even chase you if you attempt to get away others will call in a helicopter to track you until you run out of gas.

Let's be honest here, 99% of speed enforcement is simply to generate revenue. Cars are faster and safer than ever before, it's the drivers who lag behind, that and the speed limits. He was looking for someone who was speeding and a juicy target, enter the BMW. The only difference here, was he decided to floor it and go, you could tell the cop wasn't really interested. I passed a cop sitting on the side of the highway, saw his tires kick up a little dust from the dirt, and I punched it to 145mph, got off 2 exits down, and took the back roads home.
