Did u have to sand yr thrust bearing I am building a m10 bought a re ground crank and got 10 under coated bearing to match when I went to install the center thrust bearing didn’t fit on to the crank the place I bought from said that is normal and u have to sand the bearing have you heard of this or did u have to do this

BMW _For_Life I did not have to sand the thrust bearing on this engine. It came in spec. I have had to do it on other engines before. Just make sure you sand it flat and the same amount on upper and lower half of the bearings.
