Ive had my M140i for 2 years now, traded my Golf R in for one - could never go back to a 4 pot. Its a brilliant car that embarrasses some so called sports cars. Also seems to gain an extra 100 bhp in the summer 🤣

The best value hatch for the petrolhead who wants fun, fast, and practical. Had mine 3 years, and thought about mad tuning, but with 455bhp it's plenty quick enough as a daily.

Totally agree. 4 years still love it. Sounds like you're stage 2. May be worth putting the tu pump on for £300 and going to 480 with silly midrange torque.

I had a 2017 non-ppf and tax was around 165£ also.. get a single res delete, most efficient exhaust mod, and does bring out the noise, pops / bangs..

For handling get underbody brace, subframe bush inserts, PS5s on the rear.. it actually ain't too bad with just these small mods

As an M140i owner for 7 years (and never selling), it makes me laugh when people talk about the need for Harmon Kardon. My car is on 80k miles since new, has had the oil and filter done every 5k at main dealer, hasn't been ragged, etc, BUT doesn't have Harmon Kardon... and I couldn't care less. Pay attention to the service history and forget about the audio. Best wishes.

The problem I have with the RWD bms is that they’re basically unusable in the winter , anytime you put your foot slightly down even when it’s just a bit damp, your wiggling everywhere , you need dry roads and atleast above 8 degrees or it’s a wrap

I had mine through two winters and was fine 9/10, rain, snow.. whatever the weather, I used to daily it! Just need good tyres to be honest and jt handles fine

Get some decenty tyres on it, it's absolutley fine, the traction control keeps you safe. If you're not a driver then just say

When I got my car it came with PS-4 tyres with 3mm of tread. Everytime it was cold and damp it would try to kill me with even moderate provocation. Since fitting Assymetric 6's the car is transformed. It just hooks up and goes whatever the weather and any slides are very progressive and controllable.

PS4-S TYRES are far superior when brand new to any other performance road car tyre....hence why they are the go to tyre for stage 1 or 2 F80 m3's and F82 M4s lol

That was pretty hard formulated but I did notice one trend too. Most of the M140i content on youtube is from young UK people barely looking like they are even allowed to drive. I really don’t know what this is about. Anyway, nice car!
