Bro if there not being writ off there being stolen,,personally I’d go for the golf R only because of what you’ve mentioned,,,,however I’d take the S3 over both of them,your S3 was flames 🔥

I had a m140i a few years ago then sold it for a golf r. The b58 is a sick engine no getting away from it, the six cylinder is so smooth and very refined. But the rest of the car is similar to any other one series, it's like they have just dropped a large engine into a small car without changing anything else. The golf r seems to be alot more capable out of the box with the haldex and the ea888 is really good but I preferred the effortless power of the b58... But could only use the power when dry... It just spins...the golf just squats and goes it doesn't seem to care.

I owned a golf R for 4 years it was a great car couldn’t fault it really but now I own an m140 and it’s definitely more fun to drive hands down

Sounds like you don't like the car, what would you recommend?? Looking to go from a 7.5 GTI to either an R or 140 but looking for the most fun car at the end of the day

Golf R is the best all round car 👍 m140i and gti ain't catching the golf r in the back roads.. m140i is a fun car but only in a straight line and if it rains can't even put the power down on a stage 1 if you have open diff.. gti will be the best for fuel and insurance and tax and also still a very fun car

@@H4Torque ty bro, not arsed about the money and if I got a 140 I'd get an LSD and bilstein b8 + eibach springs before any performance mods - I reckon I'd be mostly fine after that

Fk2 my mate lucas has one I've featured it on the channel such a good car I'd cop one of them if they were as cheap as the m140i or the golf r anyday they just a bit to much for what you get on the inside driving wise they are perfect but the inside interior is not worth the price they go for and fk8 never been in one cant say mate 👍

To be fair bro I paid 23.5k for mine low miles but I'd go for a 50k mile one for about 18k honda engines are bulletproof yeah interior is nothing on the Germans

M140 is jus too small especially if you’ve got young kids when you sit in one feels like the passenger door is literally, where your cupholder should be plus 400+ when 70 percent of the year, it’s wet am not paying 20k plus for Two wheel drive sod that bro 🤔
