BMW M3 Competition New Car Detail And Xpel Paint Protection Film 005.

Brand new BMW M3 Competition travelled all the way down from Huddersfield for me to carry out a new car detail and apply XPEL Ultimate Plus Paint Protection Film to the full front end, side skirts and I also added film to all the high impact areas for my client. titan coatings Zeus was applied to the paint work along with the PPF being coating in Vulcan. The wheels were removed from the car and coated with Pyro along with the callipers, all exterior glass coated in Hyperglass.
This car looks absolutely stunning and my client was very impressed 👌

Hello R, great job you did there, and nice video, thanks for showing, question for you, what did you do with the part you left at the edge, you cut it or wrap it under, how did you wrap it, you let it dry? , I did not see you do that, I diy front end of my new lexus in 2007, but that time i use 3M, I just finish PPF my 2022 BMW M3 headlights, with XPEL, I saw your video and want to PPF the hood and front end, but I not sure how to wrap the edge if the precut too big and go under the hood or need to wrap the edge.

Hi, sorry for delayed reply. Yes so I add a 0.5m edge all the way around, I leave to dry over night and then wrap the edge with a heat gun on a low setting. Edge prep is very important you must de grease and use alcohol to clean the edges well.

Great video! Quick question, I have an g80 m3 that has a few rock chips already and I plan on getting PPF on it next week. Would it be worth it to use touch up paint for the rock chips prior to the PPF?

Thank you. The problem with using a touch up is it will be raised so the ppf won’t sit flat against the panel. If done correctly then you can flat the heads off once touched up which will allow for a much nicer finish 👌
