BMW M3 Track Car. Goodwood Track Day. My First One of 2020

It's good to be back creating some content again. And what better way to start than with a track day at Goodwood, in my M3 track car. Who else has driven Goodwood? Let me know what you think of it. Thank you. I did screw the video up a bit, got carried away enjoying myself rather than concentrating on making the video! Bought some new toys so I can chat through the laps a bit more next time. It’s an awesome track and it is quick. The average speed of the circuit is high with only a couple of points where you have to lose a lot of speed. At first it doesn’t seem as technical as some tracks but to get a good lap you realise there is a lot more to it. I learn something new each time and get that little bit quicker. Definitely recommend driving it some day if you can. Although pick your track days wisely as too many cars at Goodwood can really limit your track time due to noise limits. Hopefully be back there this year and make a better effort of the video

@@RemoveBeforeLaunch ah nice, yeh looked a great day. Yes I have some track day voucher there so just trying to decide which day next year to book on to. What kind of discs / pads you running and how did they fair through the day?

@@MoonpieMagic10 I’ve got a big brake kit upgrade at the front, Stop Tech discs and calipers, braided hoses, motorsport brake fluid and currently on Pagid RS29 pads which are pretty epic. Never really get any issues at Goodwood as the stints tend to be timed so never enough laps to upset the brakes. To be honest the brake set up is pretty good so brake fade isn’t a major issue on the car unless I do a really long stint on a brake heavy track like Bedford’s GT circuit

cool vid only one neg voice is low so upped the volume then the music nearly blew the speakers.. adjust the levels and your good thanks for sharing

Thanks for watching and thanks for the feedback. Yeah, it’s all a learning curve, the sound being the biggest issue. Hopefully be improving this going forward. Sorry for nearly nuking your speakers😉
