@@bill11ringsrussell66 The Bentley Continental GT they reviewed a month ago had a similar but brighter (even worse) colour too. It was a little bit hideous for such a beautiful car. I hope VW group realizes that advertising new released cars with atrocious colours (like that yellow/gold-ish in the new Q8) doesn't make them more special, but hinders their design beauty.

If BMW would make their new cars as reliable as the old 633csi 4spd I owned. I would consider buying another BMW. Even though I did have to replace my cracked head, , and the clutch master cylinder as it leaked all inside the car when it went, and the exhaust fumes coming out the rear middle of the car would get sucked inside of the car when the Moon roof was open and the A/C had to be recharged every year. Minor flaws for a BMW. Other than that.. Great car. Yikes!! The CSI would have been perfect with a Ford 289 or 302 V8 in it. O yes!!!!

Its not a meant to be a high revving V8 Sound sweetspot is in the lower revs. Also you hear the revs more in the take offs at about 1:37

Ford Focus RS for example for a 4cyl has a respectable sound, Audi RS3 sounds better and is faster then the bmw above, M2 comp. has a respectable sound, and many more you sound braindead.

I own an I30N and whilst I think it sounds decent for a 4 cylinder and I do love the car I do still think 4 cylinders sound pretty horrible. I sold my LS3 for it so I don't have bias unlike the children responding to you. 4 cylinders do sound like farts. Car manufacturers are profiting due to selling smaller and smaller engines for MORE money, they're using climate change as an excuse to rip people off.

i found out whats wrong with the sound of the 4.4 v8 in the m5 and m6 and the X6M and X5M. Its noty the engine at fault per say, but it has to do with the weird choice of BMW to send the exhaust gasses of the outer cylinders on each bank to the turbo on the opposing side. And thats why it doesnt have the v8 grunt of Merc and Audi ( they just send all the exhaust gasses of each bank to the same turbo, so you get more of the traditional v8 sound.) . I dont know why they did it, maybe to improve throttle response? I wish they change it!

Most guys of you don't know that all these german car companies would be totally bust if they would loose their most hated main costumer USA. BMW and CO have a large export proportion of more than 70% in relation to their industrial production. Most Germans are unable to fund cars like this one.
