I have a question my 2008 5 series 528i, 146,000 on the dash has started to develop a clicking/ clunking noise on the rear left wheel, I don’t know if it the axial or cv joint or what else. The noise happens when I start moving, while I’m moving, and while in revering, no noise when I’m idal. Please let me know what it could be if possible, thank you and this video really helped!

You need to take the wheel off and do a brake inspection and while the wheel is off looking for other possible causes. Inspect the driveshaft, the rear end or differential. If nothing is visible lift the opposite side as well and spin the wheel in the air and again visually inspect everything. At least you know it’s coming from the rear.
