This is the updated condensed video from my 2008 BMW 335xi e92 turbo install. these were purchased through eBay's. Not the VIV version, but they are the 4th version of the 19t through speedy turbo

My buddy had 17ts and I had freshly installed 19ts. We both hit the dyno on the same mhd ots map and the 17s dyno at 530whp and the 19s at 576whp.

I prefer stock turbos with ported heads, downpipes, and larger silicone turbo inlets, e85 setup etc ❤. You will leave 99 percent of cars on the road in the dust including popular V8 camaros, scat packs, etc. The 135i is the lightest

Yeah I think protein the heads is above my pay grade, but upgrading turbos is fun and easy 😂

@@jku392adventures lol. To keep the transmission happy, don't go full throttle in 1st. You will wear your bushings prematurely.

@@user-ju8rr9rf1o the good thing about 19ts is It doesn't hit full boost in first gear, so full throttle isn't as aggressive as the 17t or maybe even the stockers

When you originally replaced your stock twins with 17t’s, what else did you replace? I’m about to replace my 110k mile stock turbos, but didn’t know if anything else maintenance or hardware-wise was needed. My water pump + thermostat and all gaskets have about 30k miles on it so I’m not too concerned about that. Rather boost solenoids, vacuum lines, etc. Thank you

Sorry for the delay, but in the video description I put several links to some of the things that I changed. I would also recommend changing all of your vacuum lines, and since you're changing the turbos you might as well change the spark plugs and coil packs if it's needed. But a lot of people also change their turbo oil feed lines, if you wanted to do your oil pan gasket this would be a good time to do as well. And motor mounts will be easily accessible. And lower control arms will all be unbolted. But I'd recommend oil pan if it hasn't been done. And if higher mileage, you could do rod bearings and chain guides

Was this all done in one day? About how long do you think it took you?

Alot of people brag about doing this job in 8 hours. I like to spend usually 2 days doing off of this. I take my time, I enjoy, and I don't rush. So that's probably why it takes me 2 days

My flapers fully close at about 7 -8i nhg is that bad? And my other one closes at 5-6
