Just completed this job on my wife's 2015 X5 F15 at 112,400 miles - this video was a great help, thanks - the tensioner was dancing and its bearing was a little noisy - the belt looked good so not sure if the previous owner had it changed some time ago.

On the F10, the idler pulley is blocked by AC line bracket.

I don't see it needing to be removed in the manual. Can it be unbolted and pushed to the side?

Thanks for the video, looks like something I could do myself. I'm very interested to see the intake condition after 90k miles. I've heard the N55 had some carbon improvements over the N54.

I'm curious as well. I plan to do a decarbon service on it and replace the valve cover at the same time since the PCV is integrated into the cover. We have had some slightly rough starts lately that leads me to believe maybe there is some buildup.
