mine makes heaps of turbo flutter and ive got a turbo smart bov and i just pinched the hose so it bounces back through the turbo

I have a bov on mine but the turbo don’t flutter like this loud, in 4th gear yeah sure but I need this someone got any tips? Or advice

A BOV keeps the turbo from fluttering like this. This is called compressor surge and it’s when the compressed air gets shoved backwards through the impeller, a blow off valve or diverter valve vent that pressure into either the atmosphere or the intake so prevent the extra wear that surge causes. That’s why your BOV most of the time is just one big PSHHHHHH.

No won’t, the stock one can get this sound if you’re running hybrid turbo

Thinking bout this since it’s pushing all the excess boost out the intake instead could it possibly give you too much crankcase pressure since the turbo inlet has a crankcase vent?

You have to unplug your diverter valve plug. You can reach the plug from under your car, very tricky to disconnect it if the car is not in the air. Been running mine unplugged for almost a year now.

@@itstoliyyeeeeeeee it helps with having a metal cold air intake and turbo inlet. The factory plastic parts muffle the turbo sound. Also helps with running higher boost
