BMW N63 Turbo Upgrade

The intake side of these turbos have a seal that connects to 2 U shaped intake runners that have the MAF sensors on it. Its very important not to machine the intake seal area as you mentioned. These turbos came on F0, F02, F15, F10, F11, F12, F13, F16, E70 and E71 chassis. 550i, 650i, 750i/il, X5 5.0, X6 5.0. Later model of this engine uses turbos with eletronic blow off valve and wastegate.

Can the silencer be removed by itself as an upgrade without removing the turbos and without driveability issues?

My turbos don't have blow of valve.. mine is post 2012 50i so no blow off valve. Shit go hey.

I’ have a tune, down pipes and intake on mine and I’m at 520hp I’d bet with this turbo upgrade I’d be sitting at 600ish. But if you push e85 or go meth injection like I’d like to do high 600s would be gainable.

Bump for more info and mods you can do to these. I've got an S63 engine which are slightly better turbos. I'm trying to avoid the rapage I'd get using Pure charges when you appear to do awesome work.

hi,i have a bmw e46 323ci with a 2500cc inline six named m52tub25. its a na motor and im thinking of converting it to turbo.. what turbo would you suggest for 350whp.. i was wondering if i can get that amount when the engine puts normaly out around 170 to 190hp.. wich turbo would you suggest for me..or for simplicity what turbo would you suggest for an inline six with 2500cc and the aim is around 350whp the engine revs to 7000rpm..

i got one upgraded from him and I'm putting down 630hp. i would recommend not to go over 650 unless u doing like a forged pistons and rods. upgrade the diverter valve, thermostat and run downpipes, good for the engine anyways and u should see the result. I'm running ess flash but i remaped it
