This is great! This kind of content is always the best, IMO. This is kind of what YT use to be before the corporate overlords started forcing creators to bend-the-knee to the algorithm. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely appreciate your guys' efforts at the focused, full-scripted videos too, but there's nothing wrong with the VLOG style or just riffing off the top of your head. I saw a burgundy 85 524 td at my local gas station in 1989 filling up with diesel, the gentleman bought it new, I fell in love with that car, 2021 I saw it for sale in a yard, I bought it, he has passed away from cancer in 2019 and his widow hoped it would go to someone who loves it as much as he did. Yeah it's not a racer but it's a rare e28 turbo diesel that makes me extremely happy every time I drive it, I grew up driving old series Land Rovers in the 80's and 90's so that 121 horsepower is much appreciated over the 70 horsepower of my old Rovers.

Dude, absolutely spot on content. It's the simple pleasures that make being a car guy worthwhile most of the time. Doing a crazy swap or a big HP conversion is great and everything, but most of us can't achieve that stuff. So when you install fresh wheels and sort out the wheel gaps, that's relatable to most of us as it's attainable. Wheels and a drop is usually someone's first mod on their car. Well done Mike and Anthony, 1st class work.

Great vibes on this episode! I had an ‘88 528e years ago that I picked up for $400 it had some rust and 350k on the odometer but after a tune up a little tlc it cruised! Miss that car it’s the best looking 4 door sedan imo!

That looks awesome. Just as I became driving age, a guy by my grandfather bought a brand new '85 E28 M5 and I was sprung. Such amazing cars, great call

Loved it! We all need some nostalgia on the teens years because, the only bills you had to worry about were the things that you put on your car.

Perfect episode. This felt like quintessential Stanceworks content, and brought back memories. I remember lowering my e90 and the euphoric feeling of getting the stance just right. Great work per usual.

Great video Mike ! Really well told full story here. The casual nature was also nice. Felt like we were just hanging in the garage with ya. Very cool man. Channels evolving well with the help of the camera dude helping. It’s upped the game even more! 🤙🏽🤙🏽

As a 2x E28 owner ( '84 533i and '88 535is! I bought my 535is @ 92k miles and it served me well to 150k+ miles. I tricked the 535is out with 16" Fitipaldi wheels,...and OEM M5 Swaybars! Dude,...can you say hello to an Amtrac ride???? Mine was "Salmon Silver" and an awesome ride. I can honestly say I luv'd that car. Keep 'em on the road guys,...they are freak'n awesome to look at!

This was an amazing video highlighting your passion and talent. What you have done with your E-28 and the new wheels on the E-30 I’m a E-30 addict 🤤 since I was a kid because of my dad, but I’ve had my eyes on an E-28 in a pearl sky blue. Keep these great videos coming and congrats to Anthony on his new wheels, looking forward to seeing the evolution. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

@stanceworks couldn't agree more that these cars are truly special. I bought a non-running '84 528e 5spd in 2013 for $400, replaced a bad clutch master cyl, and drove it the same week. The upper part of the HVAC box was super melted from a previous blower motor fiasco so I parked it for a bit (2 years) while trying to save up for that/other parts and nearly sold it. FINALLY found the right parts, thrashed it back together, lowered it on Koni Yellows + BavAuto springs, and drove it daily to my first "real" job. I was lucky enough to buy a house in 2017 and I used it as my UHaul with a roof rack + basket. Its still waiting behind my dad's shop for some new front floor pans and a return to the road. Thank you for sparking me to get back to work on it!

I bought one used from a BMW dealership of all places..very cheap because of its miles and age and disclosed issues. gave it to my dad as a commuter car, he is a pilot for UPS and commutes three-hour round trips two times per week and he loves that 528. its quite and sporty.

I got into your channel because of the Ferrari and the hyper-nerdy build videos, but this is easily my favorite video you’ve ever made. When people in the future ask me why I love cars, this is the video I’m gonna show them. So wholesome, so authentic, and it feels… attainable? Relatable? I know I’m never going to build a bespoke racecar, but this feels like a life I could actually experience. This definitely has to do with my specific love of fitment/stance, but I don’t know if I’ve ever enjoyed a vlog so much as I enjoyed this one. Please make more of these :)

Can't argue with your taste, the sharknose era are THE real BMW's for me. Had a e28 528I then moved onto a e24 M635csi, 25 years ago (euro's since I live in europe) Loved them both and still miss them.

😎 honestly you always do it right, making simplicity and, or, over the top builds look 👀 absolutely priceless! To much! Or not enough! You got that touch of quality to whatever you touch! Proud of your passion, and jealous that I didn’t continue pursuing my passion and leaving a visual and physical artistic piece that will be a true part of me the world can experience!!!! Thanks buddy not everyone understands that a diamond in the ruff is the most beautiful expression of selflessness!
