@@hordonsalano2734 Well, my E36 is from ´94, but i own it for almost 10 years now and it has never seen a repair shop from inside since. Only did the obvious regular maintenance like oil every 10k km, coils, air- and fuel filter and fan belt, but those are really not high priced parts and easy to do yourself.

I absolutely love the e28. I had an 88 535is as my first track car. I stuck an M5 motor in it. I also had a couple of real e28 M5s. They were a pleasure to work on and a pleasure to drive. I never had one leave me stuck on me stuck on the road.

Dude, absolutely spot on content. It's the simple pleasures that make being a car guy worthwhile most of the time. Doing a crazy swap or a big HP conversion is great and everything, but most of us can't achieve that stuff. So when you install fresh wheels and sort out the wheel gaps, that's relatable to most of us as it's attainable. Wheels and a drop is usually someone's first mod on their car. This is so crazy, I owned a 83 520i while I was stationed in Germany. It was my first car in 96 and it was the car that got me into loving to drive. I drove her all over Germany until the clutch fan went and blew into the radiator. I wish I had her repaired and kept her. Yours looks amazing and now I'm looking for one.
