Yeah the boot is not all the way in at the back. Easy if you fit the back first, then the spline, then pop in the front. Also you should be using Staburags NBU 30 PTM paste to seal the boot so no water can get in. For the spline you should use Castrol Molub-Alloy Paste White T (white grease specific for splines)

Could you please advice the difference the gear oil filler port ( your place is above of youtube 07:50 need 207ml) but another filler port need 180ml ? thanks

Great video but I don’t think the rubber boot is all the way in on the back side: you can see this by comparing the beginning of your own video with the end of it, the lip does not touch the metal.

I noticed the gap either and went to the comments after that. Also at the beginning we can see a white grease on the both sides of the rubber boot - for a better sealing to avoid water penetration into the system, my advise to put it back, especially if you wash your bike with a high pressure washer. Some other videos shows to put fill the oil not from this filler plug that you indicate but from another filler plug above the shaft drive. why?

Did you pour all 207ml of final drive shaft oil? Manual states 180ml...

Yes, the manual said that, but I added 200 ml because I drained bone and dry. Thanks

Hi, all depends how you use your bike , if you do this service every 10k miles is good.!

Could you please help us clarify why you fill up the oil from the breath cap and not from the other fill plug that you need to remove the back wheel to reach it?
