BMW R1150GS Full Service video5 - Brake & clutch fluid, Air filter, Pivot joint boot

Hello everyone,
This is the last video in this short series on the BMW R1150GS. I'll be flushing the brakes & clutch, replacing the air filter, going though the maintenance schedule checklist and replacing the pivot joint boot. This video is part of a series of videos I've done on this bike which contain almost everything needed for a full service. great service series for the 1150 gs. do you think you will cover the final drive bearing swap at some point?

Excuse my ignorance, you used the same fluid for brakes and clutch? DOT4 LV? Thanks! and congrats for the video, it is very helpful

Hey David. Thanks for your comment. Yes, these bikes use DOT4 brake fluid for the clutch. The newer r1200’s use mineral oil for the clutch. All the best, Vlad
