Please help. i have a 2004 1200 GS and have to replace the starter motor. Will the 1150 GS starter fit in the 1200 GS?

At 8:24 the metal plate that holds the ‘brushes’ (i think thats the english’ doesn’t want to stay central in the rubber - then i see that at 8;43 yours seems the same - now its a little to one side. Are the two sets of brushes isolated electrically. It just feels a bit weird that it doesnt push into the rubber centraly

The placing of the rubber piece at 8:24 on the video, the metal ‘t’ tab on the plate doesn’t want to sit centrally in the rubber bit.
