Nice. I have the same fully loaded 2017 in red/black with the bobbins and head guards also. In my country lights have to be level with or higher than headlight but what you've done is pretty rad, i love it. My brake light flashes when braking above 30kmh. There's probably room to have the Denali lights higher up the forks so i might look at that. The panniers are a no go for my type of riding/commuting (lane splitting and the like)but i can see how they'd be useful on a long trip.Thanks for the info.

I have a 2017 R1200R and I have to disagree about the front headlight. It doesn't project far enough. I even replaced the OEM bulbs with LED but it didn't help. High beam does nothing but light up the wind screen. Love the bike overall and wouldn't trade it for anything but I am getting auxiliary lights for sure.

I am adding two spot for long lights. I got the bracket and there is an extra plug for it in the cansmart

In the UK, flashing the lights is an invitation to another motorist to pull out in front of you. Probably not what you want.

I'll take your word for that but in Canada and the USA flashing lights means I am about to pass you and/or move out of the fast lane because I want to pass you. Here people don't drive properly. Often they just stay in the left lane preventing people from passing. Hence the flashing lights to get their attention and remind them to get back into the left lane. Lanes are visa versa in the UK I guess.

Also, flashing lights could also be a message to another driver such as: 1. You're driving without your headlights on. 2. You're driving with your brights on. 3. There is a cop sitting down the road. 4. There is some sort of danger down the road (road work, animal etc...) Either way, this system certainly gets attention.

great video and great mods! may i ask how much extra width do the panniers add (i mostly ride in cities so filtering is quite often)?

The general rule of thumb for Panniers is that they do not extend wider than the handle bars. These are sold by BMW and I think that is the case. Other makes such as SHAD will be wider
