Help please! I want to use the 5 spade ign switch like you did and go thru the nacelle/fork ear. Please tell which wires from where goes to each spade. I do know that red goes to #30. Which wires go to #58A, #58E, and #15. Where do I find these wires. The orig ign switch has only 4 wires. Thanks!!!

Excellent video once again. Do you think it would be difficult for someone with no soldering experience to fit a daytona tachometer into a R45 (1979) ?

@@noelbarsony5968 yes 🙂 I managed to do it and I am very happy with the results. Next big thing is to fit motogadget m.unit however I thing I will take it to a specialist for that.

Could you provide more detail on the speedometer installation? Doing similar work on my 1982 BMW R65 and thinking of getting the same Speedometer. Of everything I'm doing, I'm most worried I'll screw up the Speedometer or I'll get one that isn't suitable!

Managed to figure it out (Haynes manual finally arriving helped). Following both your channels already as I’m doing similar work just waiting on everything to arrive - only received the Speedo and a few other bits so far

Hello i have a question about the PPR . Does someone know what a r65 -79 have. Is it 1pulse per revolution ore 1 pulse per 2 revolution? I have the Daytona and what it to be correctly programmed.

Hi Beuran, to be honest I have no idea. If I were you I would use the Daytona Speedometer, than you are sure it will work.
