BMW r65 Float level setting Quick way.

Just the quick way to stop overflowing or a leak etc. Method as stated in Haynes manual. Carb still on bike, set float tang until fuel is shut off just as floats become parallel with carb body. As there is no stated float height for these you can find many other methods to further refine this setting……if you wanted to. However this simple method stops petrol overflowing onto my hot exhaust, which is good.
