Hi, thank you for your feedback! I think it depends on your height, weight and where you mainly ride. The MT09 is lighter than the S1000R and for sure more fun in narrow streets. The S1000R is not made for slow and narrow streets, it loves to go fast. Its for sure possible and is fun in this streets, but you will ride around in first or maximum second gear. I think thr MT09 would be more fun, because you can use more throttle and throw the bike around into corners. BUT the S1000R is still a damn great bike and 1000cc are crazy to ride. I think you need to decide whats more important to you and maybe take a test ride. If you are tall and have a little bit weight the S1000R will still feel like a easy to ride bike, but if you are not as tall(me 1,78) and a little bit light (me 80kg) you need to put in more effort to move the bike into corners. My girlfriend got a. MT07 and its crazy how light and easy it is for me to throw it into corners and just twist the throttle without thinking. As summary: If you really want a S1000R you will get used to it, but you wont be as fast as with the MT09 in these narrow italian streets. Its just something different. For me the S1000R was and still is my dream bike. I got used to it and I am ok with the "downsides". Hope that helps :)

What mic do you use?

I use a Tascam DR 05. It's similar to the Zoom H1, but I dont know if there are real differences in the audio quality.

@@remyfrech5922 No problem :) Thats not too hard. You need to find the input volume level and the kind of limiter which fits the best. For the input volume just start your bike and start revving, while holding the mic in a similar position where it's sitting while riding. Now it depends if your bike does very loud pops and bangs like mine or just the sound itself. Just the sound itself would be better, because you can level the volume higher without having the issue of cracks. Cracks come from too loud input where the mic just cuts of the volume. Thats what the limiter does, he decides when and how the input gets cut. I use a fixed limiter, because when the device does it automatically the volume will be kind of fucked up with my pops. Thats because the one loud volume will bump up the limiter and everything else will be silent and after that it needs some time to gow down again, so the "normal" sound is again detected by the mic. In my case I need to use a input level of just 1 of 30, because this bike is so loud and the pops and bangs even more😂 The disadvantage by that is when my valve is closed, the bike is very silent on the audio. Maybe this issue could also be solved somehow, but thats how I make this work. Hope that helps ✌🏻
