You guys were getting it! Nice riding and good avoiding hitting the rider in front. Hope no one is hurt.

Mannnnn good job not hitting that guy! That’s sorta how my highside on turn 2-3 looked. My butt still hurts lol.

I actually know this guy, he fractured his back, shoulder, and left hand and got a concussion but still made it to work the next day! Bad but it could have been a lot worse
@cheetah7402 жыл бұрын
Wow! I didn't know the extent of his injuries. Did he get back to riding again?
@Metroidfreek2 жыл бұрын
@@cheetah740 he did. He says he’s considering giving up track riding since he’s getting old (57) and can’t bounce as well as he used to lol. But he hasn’t yet, said he loves it too much.

@Metroidfreek he needs a Alpinestars techair 10 airbag!

Now, that’s impressive! If he were a professional footballer he’d be off on full pay of millions claiming PTSD, trauma and ruffled hair. Absolute respect to the guy.

Could he have just layer it down and pushed himself away from the bike? Did that happen because he tried to save it? What’s the right way to handle that so you don’t get launched?
@cheetah7404 ай бұрын
No, these things happen very quickly. He could have just been not as agressive on the throttle.
@Hei1Bao4 Жыл бұрын
I saw the rear wheel pop out a bit in the corner before and expected it then. You backed off and for a minute it looked all good, but then it happened again much worse the next corner. I assume heavy rear braking was the culprit both times?
@natecote19717 ай бұрын
I wonder if the slide control on the 23/24 would have prevented this?
@anselherz8372 жыл бұрын
Too much throttle at that lean angle, right?
@rowdybroomstick63942 жыл бұрын
Still making the turn it looked like to me. And then it seems he added throttle instead of waiting for the bike to stand up. Plus is probably a fairly greasy tire with it being like the surface of the sun out there🤷
@cheetah7402 жыл бұрын
Exactly, just needed to decrease lean angle if he is adding throttle.

Why would you want traction control, abs or any other system that only p5ss13s use ? U r not the one driving when u have those systems active. Where do you draw the line between a bike with no riding aids and a rollercoaster that you just sit in and enjoy the ride without doing ja3ksh1t ??

the cost of turning off traction control. Once he repairs the bike and heals up a bit he might turn it back on; at least he should, doesn't make since to ride without it.
