@@faithonwheels53 no problem in fact the gearbox and quickshifter is probably one of the best I have ever used , have you got one yet?

@@geoffsmith1616 I have not bought one yet, probably after the winter.. I love the practicality of the S1000XR and it is overall a great package. However I am also really interested in the 2021+ Aprilia Tuono V4 (non factory). Those have an amazing V4 engine, but are way less practical than the S1000XR. The Multistrada V4 is great, but out of my budget at the moment. In short I think I should get the 2017+ (facelifted) S1000XR, because it has everything I need!

@@faithonwheels53 I have had about v4 tuonos , great bikes your correct in respect of the fact the xr is more of a Swiss army knife , the tuonos are a bit more hard work in town and drink more fuel but there an amazing bike especially if you like to ride really quick and do track days , wind blast gets old for me after a while as I am middle aged now 😀

@@geoffsmith1616 thank you very much for your comment. Very interesting and I totally agree with you. Because I am looking for a daily and only have room for one motorcycle the XR is the logical choice. Perhaps in the future when I have more space, I can taste that delightful V4!
