Can you provide more detail as to how you freed the silver trim from the black plastic base and then how you re-attached?

Hey! Sorry for the delay in responding. When you first remove it, towards the bottom you'll see hinges holding it in place. You'll just have to remove them gently

I’m tryna find another original grey/ silver trim thing that u wrapped because mine is peeling off like it was wrapped, can’t find any original color ones, I can only find carbon fiber one from Amazon smh, nice wrap btw

I’m buying a f36 and noticed that the gear doesn’t have a leather gaiter. My last one did (same model) where do I get these and are they easy to fit. I notice you haven’t got one in yours

Hey Jason! This one was on my F30, my F36 GC does have the leather. I believe you can get these from most motorsport companies, I did a quick google search and found some on Etsy and eBay, hope this helps!

I have a 2015 328 and my shifter has a leather shroud on it between the trim and the shifter. It looks very similar to the pic for this video. How do you get the leather off? I’m replacing the trim piece since the chrome is starting to bubble.
