What to do when your TPMS light comes on in your car. The purpose of the TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) is to alert you when tire pressure is too low and could create unsafe driving conditions.

Hi I am in Australia and have 2022 BMW X5 X 30D - M-Sport model and I do not see these many details in tire settings in iDrive 7 display? Are these settings and displays are different for different models??

it might be a national market difference, i'm not 100% sure but for instance we in the USDM don't get the full ability of the lazerheadlights, the anti-dazzle is coded out because of federal regulations... best guess would be that it's either standardized for your tire and therefore not needed to select different ones (which i find unlikely but possible..) or the factory options tirewise for the 30D might be limited to one size there for limiting the need to swap different tires on. Although i'd LOVE to see a lifted X5 with 35s on :)

I think tyre pressure monitoring is not part of the standard factory build, you need to pay extra for it under optional features. I just got the M135i and mine doesn’t show the tyre pressure either.

Question: If I install wheelset from other BMW ( larger wheels), will this IDrive reset recognize and read my "new" wheels and TPMS or is this procedure only for already installed and programmed TPMS? In other words, do I need those TPMS scanners to have new Wheels/Tire/TPMS properly working or BMW Idrive would do that?

what's your speed that you're driving? it measures best between 35 and 60 MPH of continuous movement.
