BMW X3 E83 2.0 Diesel Fuel Filter Replacement

Today we are replacing the fuel filter on a 2006 BMW X3 E83 2.0 Diesel, the filter is located alongside the gearbox so you will need to remove the gearbox under tray to allow access, you can do this job with axle stands and a jack however I recommend a ramp if you know someone with one it just makes it easier.
Tools needed,
- Car jack
- Axle stands
- 3/8 ratchet
- 3/8 deep 10mm socket
- Small pick
- Flathead screwdriver
- Cutters (in case you need to cut the jubilee clip off )
- Torch
- Can of WD40
- Some old rag
Parts needed,
-New fuel filter
-Fuel filter gasket and rubber seal (these should come with the new filter)

When we say tighten it up if it needs torquing that is down to you to find the necessary settings not us, as all vehicles are different.
