Just got the BMW X3 M40i and it is absolutely SPECTACULAR! It's like driving a sports car, but it's an SUV. Not to mention that it is absolutely gorgeous inside and out. It beats these overpriced electric vehicles in every way.

The electric power wasn’t used in the drag race for the Audi. When you use the launch control it only uses the combustion engine. This is why it got off the line so slowly

That B58 with a tune will easily do 450hp in the X3 M40i

The X3 M40i flies and I was surprised to see it beat out the hybrid cars in this test. Sport Plus mode is an absolutely insane and it's still down over 100hp from the X3M. Love the X3 as a daily driver especially with the adaptive suspension. Does everything perfect except wish I could figure out how to disable start stop in comfort mode 2ithout having to push the button everytime...😣

Northstar: When you pay more and get less in return :-D - Actually the Volvo didn`t win one test if they would not gift the first rolling race afterward for "leading most of the time" :-D - I will use that "leading most of the time" next opportunity we do SIM Racing here.

It was a ROLLING RACE not a top speed test so yes the Volvo won. Otherwise they could just drive forever until the car with the highest top speed comes past. Have you ever seen a carwow race before? That is almost always how they decide the winner, on initial kickdown and how well it stays in the lead.

Speed limit in most countries are topped at about 80mph so unless you're on an autobahn, it doesn't matter. You will never travel at 120mph, legally anyway.

What mode are the cars in for the first drag race? I’m surprised how the BMW was so much faster than the electric assisted off the line. Or is it because of the the launch control, so the BMW didn’t have the turbo lag as well?

The X3 M40i is just such a good car, really subtle and unexpected but also sounds really good.
