To get a much better exhaust sound, improve performance, and gas consumption, you have to do a few things: 1. replace catted down pipe to catless down pipe - improves performance, gas consumption, and sound at the cost of some exhaust smell 2. install x-pipe to get rid of rasp and increase performance 3. install vibrant ultra quiet resonators to get of drone 4. install exhaust cutouts just before muffler so you can bypass the muffler to get much better sound, but close the cutouts when you want your car to be quieter 5. stage 2 flash tune e.g. BootMod3 Flash Tune - improves performance The F85 sounds amazing now and blazing fast. Perfection!

I have an '18. Very pleased. Consider however if you want winter wheels/tires it changes the look a lot. I use rear spacers which helps. The lack of Park button still freaks me out but I learned when I open the door in Drive it goes into park (try to stop first). Just changed my front brake pads - $200 from ECS and very easy to do. Drive well.

@@marcalexander6450 Yes, the BMW garage in Potsdam stated the engine had seized, luckily after some time BMW agreed to do the repair under warranty. The repair total would of been €49,000 with a total of €35,000 in parts. They gave me a list with all the parts replaced etc etc. After all this i would still recommend one to anyone as it is a great car, if just make sure you either buy from BMW with an approved used warranty if they do that where your from or purchase a seperate warranty for repairs. I just got the new F95 X5M Comp last week. Came from the F85 X5M. The F95 definitely feels faster and handles better. To what degree I can't say as I haven't pushed it yet. Biggest difference I've noticed so far is the F85 has noticeable turbo lag in comfort mode where as the F95 has none in that mode. Would love to see a video of them going head to head. On another note were you doing the drive around Burbank and the valley?

@Reoniz3 жыл бұрын
Thank you, and I know, I should’ve included a bit more info on that, but this was pretty early into my channels history lol!! I’ve only test driven an X3m for maybe 3 minutes, so it’s a bit hard to compare, but a few big things stood out to me: The ride seemed harder/more choppy on the X3m The car felt decently smaller, and I felt as though I was sitting in a slightly lifted wagon, whereas the F85 feels like a real SUV. The exhaust note itself was a bit more defined, but the engine noise was less. I can’t speak on full on performance off just a test drive, but I have read a lot of info that claims the X3/X4m’s are faster than this gen X5m The tech inside was a slight upgrade over an 18’ X5M, an even more significant upgrade over a 16-17 X5M All of this considered, I would try to test drive them if possible, as they are different enough that you should walk away knowing which one YOU prefer.... money becomes the only remaining variable, good luck!!
