I had also wanted this car for 8 years. Got one 5 years ago and it is the best car i've ever had. Yes in the past 6 months I've had lots of mechanical issues but the 1st 4.5 years were amazing. 2013 X6 with M performance package. Will probably get another one. good luck as you do have to maintain them.
