Can I start my BMW with a dead key fob?

If your BMW key fob is dead, you won't be able to unlock your vehicle remotely or, if your BMW has Comfort Access, use keyless entry. However, you can still access and start your car manually.

I have a 2015 640i, Accidentally washed my key fob. I knew about the key pull, i saw the key arrows a while ago, now i know what its for. Started my car. I was worried i would have to pay the dealership, Thanks😊
