Crazy to see how far the sports n all extreme sports have evolved...i remember playing Dave Mirras Freestyle BMX on the Original Xbox n doing tricks like a Tailwhip Backfilp n All these other insane combos thinking no way anyone could ever land tricks like these...then fast forward like 10 years n then to today n not only are they doing all those tricks but their even surpassing them!!!!!

X-games is so boring anymore. The riders themselves aren't really the issue, it's the way courses are and the way judges score. Absolutely no creativity is involved anymore. Park is just a bowl and vert most of the time, and dirt is just straight rhythm without the technicality which means no style, just big tricks. Edit: Also, these judges need to be fired. They absolutely suck.

Not much different than mega or park, just guys hucking as many tricks as possible off every lip. I get that's what appeals to the masses, but if you're going to have multiple different contests it'd be cool to see one based on flow and style for some variety. BMX is more than just flip whips and cash rolls.

@@Jared-hx4dn To each their own. But I find it hard to believe that people wouldn't find riders like Chase Hawk or Corey Walsh impressive. When you're not focused on on throwing outrageous tricks every air you can be way more creative with your lines, transfers, and the speed and momentum you keep. Chase won gold at park without flip whips.

How does D. Gasniack do better the Rwilly. But when is a circous too much of a circous to be taken seriously. RWilly can do all these things nobody else can do and are not doing, hmmmmm....... Those tricks are good for Nitrous circous, maybe not in a purists field of play like xgames. Nobody likes a show off.

Yo, these dirt comps grew on me over the past few years. They're actually progressing VERY fast. AND R Willy is in this one now, sheeeeeesh. The only thing is, Scotty just isn't one of my favorite commentators. That's my only takeaway. No disrespect. A person who's nasaly when they talk, AND has some sort of lisp. Im sorry ita annoying. There i said it.
