BMX Flatland Is CRAZY!!!

BMX Flatland is amazing and crazy to watch!
As a person who had never actually seen BMX flatland in person, this was incredible to see at Cornhuckit 2021. The balance and skill these people have is amazing and seeing how similar the process of trying to land tricks is to everything I do was also pretty eye opening. Flatland is something that anyone can do at any skill level.

Flatland is RAD. I suggest checking out the series "Can you make it?" on Matthias Dandois' channel with Alex Jumelin and usually a guest relevant to the episode's trick. I'm not as familiar with the eighties riders and am stoked to have learned about Dave Nourie, that dude is insane!

Dave is the best in the world at flatland and he’s been the best forever. Way back in the 80’s when I was in jr high I saw him do a demo and within a month all of had cheap pegs on our bikes. The man is the flatland GOAT.

You can start with any BMX bike, shorter the top tube the better. After a year of riding your bike specs and preferences will change a lot depending on the style of tricks you’re into.
