Perfect timing! Was just trying to learn these on Monday and got as far as turning 90˚ before I realized I didn't know what to do next.

Thanks dude this is the video I needed. I’ve almost got it but was having a hard time figuring out what to do with my arms and the bars to save myself from falling. Just that simple instruction is gonna help a lot! I had seen another video previously that said to use your knees to balance in fakie that definitely was not working 😂

After 6 weeks I've managed to fakie 3 and a half concrete slabs worth but rolling out seems impossible. One day, one day. Thanks for the tips Brant

My way: Put a long seatpost. Sit down. Use a long moderate hill. Look at the road in front, not below you. Your brain wants the horizon line. You can practice over and over very quickly. And the speed of the hill helps too. You need a moderate speed to get the feel quickly. Once you have the feel of steering, then you can do away with the post and stand if you like.

Hey Brant, can you do tire slides (or one of your homies)? More specifically tire slides on the coping when going over a spine. Nobody has ever done a how to on that yet. There's already a ton of tutorials for 180s, 360s, manuals, fakies, barspins, whips, grinds etc. Guaranteed 10K views within the first 10 mins or your money back!

Ohhh that could be a good one. Ill try to figure them out so I can make a video!

Nice tutorial i ride casstette and fakie rollout is not easy at all, it kills me how easy it looks, when i try its very difficult . Many say coaster is so much harder honestly i think its up to the individual as people all learn differently, but the cassette seems harder to me No wonder everyone coasts these days back peddling is too much to ask for apparently imo
@Brant_Moore6 жыл бұрын
I can remember fakies being extremely hard to learn and time consuming as well. It feels impossible, and then you get one. I agree it depends on the person, coasters definitely don’t make it easier though

Trick how to's will start back up soon. There are quite a lot of a how to videos on those though so I'm not sure I will hit them. If enough people want it I can though!

Fakes are my nemesis. I can fakie enough to get rolled out on most tricks but if I need to fakie more than 5 or 6 bike lengths I struggle! Drives me nuts as I’m pretty handy at riding bmx in most other areas but fakies just don’t come together for me :/ yet anyways.
