You make it look so easy. I'm a good dirt jumper and MTB rider, like I can ride pretty big jumps comfortably and effortlessly, but man something about a sizeable quarter pipe air out just scares the shit out of me.

airs don’t really scare me I’ve been riding bmx for 2 years but big big dirt jumps are scary for me

Coping I bet.

@@wanawatene9972 don't feel bad. Dirt jumps scare me less then quarters if they aren't doubles. I'll send it at a 20 foot table top but rare lol. However 12 to 20 sets scare me less then either. Like a 14 set is simple compared to trying to air a 5 foot quarter for me.
@robertlee84005 жыл бұрын
I use to air with my left foot forward but turn right , I could get 6 foot up over the coping on a 8 foot quarter , of corse I was a 1986 thru 1992 rider so pipes were much smaller in height , the biggest halfpipe I ever rode was 12 foot & I could still get 6 foot out . Keep making these great vids Mike & stay safe out there .

I watch this channel as religiously as Cranmer's one. You guys are simple, polite, and videos are cool, I enjoy your tutos ; maybe you could add make some obstacle course on your funny bikes ( tandem, steeering wheels etc )

Are your forks 25 or 32 offset? I'm currently running a Primo HD, which is 13mm offset. I understand a shorter wheelbase makes things a little more difficult, on ramps.

Hey Mike! I've been trying this at the moment so I'll try your tips! It would have been pretty cool to see a gopro/body cam angle of this and in any future tutorials, I find they can often help the most! Cheers!

Your tutorials are always good. I've been trying to air out for a long time, I only get like a couple inches though. I usually go straight up and turn around and land in the same exact spot. Would it be easier going on an angle like that. I've tried that cause I see so many people do it but it just feels weird to me

Dude any help you can give? Left foot forwards but mad goofy. Spin regular now because I forced myself but I pump the right way and grind on the wrong side, I footjam the wrong way lol. Quarters and park besides banks just wrecks me.

Manual and Airing out are my nemesis I dont have the balls I did 20yrs ago and falling these days actually hurts. What knee pads are you using? I have some old MX ones that just fall out of the way just in time to insure my knee gets full ground contact lol. I dont remember the exact video but I believe its Spencer foreman that shows a bunch of cases and how to ride out of them. I will double check that and edit with the correct info if I'm wrong. I hope this isnt any youtube forbidden no no go sit in the dark place with the bad man move but here is the link to the video showing cases. (I have seen you guys ride together in many videos so I'm guessing you will not take issue) kzbin.info/www/bejne/rHTSo6iDfMypkM0
