As I recall,, I first met Trevor at a York Jam about 5 years ago. Brett Downs introduced him to me. I saw him working a small spine and was super impressed by him. I think we all had dinner together that evening (but my memory may be wrong). Anyway, we have crossed paths several times since then he’s always got something amazing to show. Super cool guy who I hope to see go really far in our sport. Thanks for showcasing his talent, skills, and personality.

I agree w/ him 100% on the cookie cutter riders of today because it happened in the early 2000s w/ street riders and they tried to act like they was better than any other rider and it was annoying, to say the least.... Having people trying to muscle you out of a skatepark because you're "Not a BMX rider" was a very common thing in the parks of PA and it got on my nerves so badly. I just wish people would realize that this sport is all inclusive, from old-school riders to newbies, all are welcome.... Just don't snake runs, block ramps or sit on the coping and you should be fine. 😂

I like to think this style as the y2k style, although back then they were already starting to drop the breaks. Lips tricks is what I miss the most in current BMX runs, all the contest runs look the same these days.

I would Rock the crap out of a 19in. Trident in that Snow cone color. I'm rocking a 2011 Odyssey Flatware Waltz in the light blue. With inflation and small batch runs of thing, mixed with getting sick and not being able to make a lot of money due to the fact I need my health insurance, bike upgrades are out of the question for awhile still. But Midwest winters are also not conducive to riding out side anyway. I think the closest indoor parks are now the Cleveland area parks since Elkhart, Solution, and the Kitchen Have all been closed. I never got so go to the Kitchen it didn't seem like as a flatlander anyway there would have been much area to mess around in, more of Brett's pro level playground. While Trevor's riding style is basically my favorite style to watch and I agree about the message to the people at the end. I personally do kinda stick myself to flatland, mostly because I am terrified of heights. That Bowl rhythm room looks fun though. I haven't been to that Ray's, I went to the Milwaukee one before it closed. I don't know what it is like to ride Cleveland, but if you do ride flat with high tire pressure let some air out before running the green line even. I think I was rocking some Odyssey Frequency G (could have been Primo Walls it has been a long time since then and I don't remember) tires at like 100psi and was going up a hill my tires slid out from under me. Lowered the psi to guessing around 75-80 and was fine the rest of the day. Still miss their water fountain, if it was any colder it would have been coming out as slush.

Good but not hair raising like Sam Pilgrim from the U.K. Sam is more interesting , in my opinion . Yes he is from a different sub - discipline .
