Furries are weird. But I see the appeal of merging the positives of a human with the positives of an animal. All animals have unique abilities we make comic books about. But as humans, we developed to know how to connect the dots.

i myself am a furry and i don't think we're weird. we are one of the most accepting communities in the whole world. you can join a furry discord and say you found ut your gay and everyone will say congratulations or you could say your mom died and everyone would feel sorry for you. we accept everyone in our fandom. those who aren't fursuiters are just furries. aka normal human being who loves anthromorpic characters. and those who are indeed fursuiters just cosplay their own anthropomorphic oc. its a hobby we love. its a hobby we spend thousands of dollars on. its a hobby that donates hundreds of thousands to animal charity etc. we are not weird. we are amazing, accepting, helping, we have saved many lives because of being so kind to everyone. i understand those who don't like us, not everyone has to like us. but i just wanted to say this

What they do is what makes them weird. Mostly what I find weird about these costumes is their design and that they are all designed pretty much the same way. The little kid stuffed animal design. And yes, the part of the furry community that also acts like the animal they dress up as and what not is weird.

@@foolsanticsstudio i do indeed accept you and im going to tell you about these fur costumes, aka fursuits! if its a full body, it can definitely cost like over 1000 dollars to either commission or make one. so these fursuits that you somehow find weird, are basically lets take an example.. a halloween costume. its a fursuit head, suit and everything. its basically a cosplay, just of their own character. and no there are not many that are similar. every single one has a unique design and putting a fursuit on for the first time is a magical experience, you really should go to a con or something and at least try on a fursuit head and do research because fursuits are not as weird as you think. they are just oc costumes that are hot af, i myself have a fursuit head and i could never handle the heat in a full body fursuit. im very impressed by the people that can be in that hot as hell of a costume for hours and hours. please do research. do research and you'll understand
