Surely an all powerful, all knowing, omnipotent being could figure out how to intervene in human affairs without compromising free will. This is either what god wanted, god didn't care, god is unable to intervene, or god doesn't exist. I'm putting my money on not existing.

Not existing is such a simpler explanation than personality rationalization of irrational behaviors.

I'm sorry, I haven't watched the other parts yet, but I want to say that you shouldn't have brought to the discussion a man who claims to be a (former) scientist and thinks that he came to religion "through science" yet do not understand the core ideas of evolution theory nor he is aware of the latest progress in the science of abiogenesis. This just significantly lowers the level of the whole discussion.

It is important to know that such people exist-who are capable of being intelligent and yet get completely shifted in their thinking to the point of false belief.
