@Unknown Name I would like to thank you for your comment, you see my brother ran away last September (though he is now safe and in the place HE wanted) I saw the way it affected my parents and still affects them it made me grow some hatred towards him, so all the little conversations that I’ve had with him have been awkward at least for me, It also made me not want to speak with him and I haven’t spoken with him in a little over two months now, I have been contemplating if I want to forgive him for what he did to not only my parents but to me for leaving us like that, but reading your comment has made me realize that I should cherish him, because he IS my brother, (Though forgiving him completely may not happen) but I can still love him. so from the bottom of my heart! thank you for commenting that! because I’m now gonna try to make things work with my brother, because I truly do love my family!

It won't be long before me and my group of best friends will be graduating from High School and soon will be moving on to having a better life that we would imagine. But I can't imagine having a better life without the ones who were there by my side every step of the way; ups and downs, lefts and rights they were there for me and they still are. I wanna do an annually or biannually meet up with them when that time comes to catch up and enjoy each other's presence for each moment. This hits home for me. I remember when I was about to have my Sweet 16 party and invited my friends. A few days before, I heard all my friends talking about this song, and I got curious so I listened to the song. This song literally had me in tears the first time I heard it. I loved it so much I wanted it played at my party, even better my uncle brought over his big speaker and mike to sing into. On the day of my party, everything was a blast, but I really wanted one of my friends (who got so impressive pipes on him) to sing the song. He didn't want to, until a lot of pleading from pretty much everyone cause everyone knew he had a voice. He started singing, and everyone joined in, good and bad, but none the less it was by far one of my most precious memories. Everyone at the time already knew I'd be moving away the next year, so it was pretty special to me. I'm 19 going on 20 in 2 months, and so far I've only been able to keep in contact with two of my friends since then. But, I'm sure everyone is fine, without them I'm wouldn't be the person I am now, I'm glad to have ever meet and been friends with them. I love this song so such, it brings backs so many of my memories of them, I still listen and sing to this song while reminiscing. 😊☺😁

That’s such a wholesome story ❤️ I have some good memories with this song as well. I have a HUGE family and we tend to fight a lot, so one day during a cookout, this song came on and me and my cousins (I believe we were 14-15 at the time) started singing loudly. I’m 17, nearing 18 in a few months, and I would still belt out that song with my family if I had the chance again. I can’t remember much of that day, but this song does hold dearly in my heart and I hope I can one day sing to the lyrics and actually mean what they say. Thanks for sharing your story ❤️

Dude I’ve had this happen to me man. I had a friend who was under immense amounts of stress and had been thinking of suicide. He eventually did, but when he was alive, I used to sing this song for him whenever he had a mental breakdown and he fell asleep every time. Now I like to see him looking over me as I suffer from depression.
