Do Indians believe in the crimes and corruption committed by Sheikh Hasina and her regime? If so, why do they support her government despite the ongoing crisis? It appears that their support may be driven by a desire to help her consolidate power in exchange for maximizing their own returns. Making Bangladesh a trusted colony by extorting almost every thing from there, I hardly believe in the democracy of India. As they consider one of the henious autocratic regime in their closest neighbour as their best friend and shamelessly support her to capture the power.

Indians are trying to figure out who is more evil, Hasina or your parties in power ie Jamaat and BNP. Even when Hasina was in power, Jamaat used to practice violence against Hindus. inspite of millions of Bangladeshi Muslims taking shelter in India as economic migrants. India dealt with Hasina because she was your elected Prime Minister. India has never supported Hasina with her internal politics in Bangladesh. At a time when Bangladesh was desperate for funds, India has provided Bangladesh with Billions of Dollars. Irony is you do not have the common sense to see all the favors BD has received from India. Hope India stops all trade with BD. Try and get your stuff from the Chinese. What extorting are you talking about you nincompoop.

Could you list what India has extorted from Bangladesh? What India has suffered is the arrival of Hindu refugees and Muslims who have illegally come to India seeking work. So you want Indians to support a party (Jamaat) that hates and wants to kill them and ignore the anti-India nature of the BNP and Jamaat.

Few points I would like to mention: 1. Jamaat's ban was enforced on 1st August 2024, 4 days before Hasina's resignation. So, it was expected that the ban would be lifted. 2. Hasina ordered(just after resignation) the President to let Mrs Zia and other political convicts go free(rumored). 3. In regards to flood: It was a flash-flood and the water level raised up to the roof of one-storied building within 12 hours. This never happens naturally. India claimed that the near by dam was opened automatically. But that does not relieve India from the responsibility of informing the all associated countries in the river basin about the situation. You built the dam and it is your sole responsibility to let other stakeholders know. This is a clear violation International Convention for shared rivers. 4. We view Hasina's asylum in India as how the world would view India if it provided asylum to Hitler. What did you expect? She killed 1000+ people in two weeks leading up to her resignation.

Listening to Geeta's few perspectives on the issues in Bangladesh, I find myself feeling that she is closer to understanding the reality here compared to most commentators(I did listen till now) with Indian affiliation. Unfortunately, the Indian government helped that specific political party maintain its power-in exchange of unjust advantage from Bangladesh and in exchange it's commitment to democracy and Justice. This reflects an intellectual dishonesty and injustice driven by the Indian government and the BJP’s short-term advantages, including trade imbalance heavily against Bangladesh, influencing internal policies of Bangladesh, and agreements on trade, water, corridor/transit, surveillance, etc. Thoughts guided by desire are a fundamental obstacle for humans in comprehending reality. Justice is not merely about self-interest. Being mindful of this may help in understanding others through understanding oneself. Sorry if this is discomforting to read. I found BNP’s points to be neither new nor engaging; they largely echoed the typical party narrative with minimal reference to the July movement and failed to capture the current sentiments and emotions of the people of Bangladesh. However, there is a public perception that BNP could win the next election. This movement addresses broader injustices, such as enabling killings, corruption, land grabbing, exploitation of private businesses, and suppression of freedom of expression through the judiciary, similar to other state institutions like law enforcement and civil services. The issue lies in their alignment with the government's will and interest groups, rather than maintaining fairness and justice through impartial court orders. This problem is not confined to one political party; it affects any party in power and goes beyond the issue of rigged elections, which I neglected to mention earlier. Reality and Narratives on Communal Conflict: Can we truly eliminate the biases of the human mind? Are we genuinely committed to dedicating our efforts to uncovering the truth? Or are we often lazy and ignorant, unwilling to delay gratification, seeking only to confirm our pre-existing beliefs? Real effort is needed to investigate and uncover the truth. We request your help in identifying the top 10 incidents involving minorities who (a) were not unjust beneficiaries of the Hasina government and (b) were not involved in personal disputes. These conditions are necessary; otherwise, it would require examining hundreds of attacks on Muslims or their businesses. We are eager to understand and ask that you remain mindful of your own biases.

29:00 People of Bangladesh are annoyed because the gates were opened in the middle of the night without warning. Are you saying that your river commission didn't have prior information on dumboor gate opening? Just two hours early warning would have saved at least 50% damages.

There is no winning with Bangladesh. India should not bother with helping Bangladesh and maintain basic relationship as a neighbor and no more. Bangladesh has turned drastic Islamic and will always see India as Hindu enemies. Why even bother.

@@broadsword70 If India had learned to do that we wouldn't have faced the bitter relationship we're experiencing now. However, as an upstream country, they have some obligations bound by international law and practices. Sharing information on common rivers is one of those obligations.

Please don't be blind when discussing a political party of your neighboring country. You should know how BJP govt treats Muslim minorities over there! Please also note that Hindu minorities are more safer in Bangladesh than Muslim minorities in India. Those who faced violence were because they're leaned too much towards Hasina regime. Not because of their religion. Many Muslim people also faced similar violence for the very same reason! I would also seek your attention toward border killings by BSF. During first 9 days of this month alone BSF killed two Hindu children, a girl and a boy, namely Shwarna Das and Jayanta Kumar. Why don't you report these incidents as crime against Hindu people?? 😢😢

How many Muslims emigrated to Bangladesh from India due to so-called repression by BJP? None! And still shamelessly you ramble on about "oppression of Muslims in India". This shows that it's plane and simple fanaticism that is responsible for the present breakdown in the relationship between india and Bangladesh

@@sonjoybhattacharji5706 Also worthy to mention here that because of BJP's shameless support for Dictator Hasina regime is the sole reason of current public anger in Bangladesh against your govt. In addition to that many perpetrators of Hasina regime are presently hiding in India to avoid Justice for the crime against humanity!! Why aren't you sending them back to Bangladesh authorities ???

@@decent-dude why don't you refer to the works of Salam Azad, Abul Barkat. They have done research on the treatment of hindus in Bangladesh right from 1946 direct action day in calcutta followed up by noakhali massacre. I deliberately didn't mention taslima nasreen because that would have been a red herring to you predictably.

@Geeta Mohan - you are still not getting it about Bangladesh… you are seeing Bangladesh through your lens, so it is expected that either you really don’t know ground realities OR you are in denial like other 99% of Indian media and administration…

Can India afford to maintain a strained relationship with Bangladesh? While GDP, population, and military power are important, they aren't the only factors to consider. Underestimating Bangladesh could be a mistake. Poor relations would be detrimental to both countries.

Bangladesh has never needed any cooperation with india for economic development, rather it was a reciprocal venture between both countries, give and take. Without the bad influence and ill-intervention of india and corruption, Bangladesh is gonna prevail more than ever, and those Indians who are saying Bangladesh has gone into bankruptcy, are completely wrong, Bangladesh current GDP is $700B according to latest government report, With that being said Bangladesh is currently the biggest economy of south asia according to population ratio followed by india and pakistan. But the thing is that we Bangladeshis are upset about the fact that Sheikh Hasina and her corrupt regime stole $93B which isn't huge but yet not negligible amount, we could've been close towards $1 Trillion economy sooner, but it has delayed the growth of Bangladesh economy a bit. I humbly request the India government and media not to interfere in our internal affairs, or things won't go in your favour. If india is interested we will invite you to initiate a war with Bangladesh, yes we have less resources and military disadvantages, but things wont remain this way forever as we wont give up and start purchasing significant war equipments, consequences of war might lead to destabilization of indian territory and in worst case, Bangladesh might take over chicken neck, eventually collapsing of seven sisters as well as West Bengal. The more days pass from now on, Bangladesh will become threat for india, not overnight but in 20-25 years, till then Bangladesh will patiently wait and keep expanding military
