It is not my Layout John Parker is the owner. My Layout is the Grande Pacific Railroad. I have had privilege of operating on the BNSF Fall river division. and shot the video.

This Mid-West type of layout is exactly what I see when I see trains there! Fall River has given me many good ideas and concepts. I would love to do an ops on this layout some day

Fantastic to watch this series, sir. The best part of following the coal run as you are in the video here, is the gradual scenery change from the plant to the mine. So great.

Nice Video of a Beautiful model railroad. However, I would have the author under investigation for violations of appropriate and legal sounding of the horn. Horns used extensively where there were no known crossings and as well not blown appropriately through several grade crossings that were not protected. This can all be resolved at his next GCOR class. LOL! What a great layout, and what wonderful coverage. Thanks to all.

Greetings guys, I've been YouTubing going on about 2years now. And this is by far the best I've seen. I love trains so much so that if I was to be fortunate to retire. I'd have to really consider moving to wherever you guys are located and join your club. I'm gonna end on this note. Keep doing what you're doing. Take care, over and out.

What a great railroad. On your grain facility what colour grey and blue did you use at around at 7:47 into the video. I am building a similar structure and the colours look amazing. I have mine in a sandy primer at present but it does not really work.

"Loads in, Loads out". WHEN I lived at my home that had a basement?? I was building a layout. Loads in, Loads out. I had a switching yard that was going to be hidden. I cannot re-create this layout. WELL maybe I will try again.......

If I remember right your basement is 3,000 sq ft with 2,700 for the layout , was your house built in mind with a massive layout like that or did you just find a house with a large basement ? At 22:30 or so the rail train ,were those rail cars custom built or did you buy them ?
@arthurhouston37 жыл бұрын
jim smoter he has web site shows the basement before the house was put in top

Wow that's a lot of miles. 1400 miles that's half way for me when I go back to WV from Ca.

The model is awesome, indescrivible. But you should improve how you take videos: especially with the trembling and the fact that some of the most interesting parts (like, for example, when the unloaded train waits for the loaded one to pass by) are not shown...which is litterally a shame. In any case, the job you did there is awesome!
@arthurhouston34 жыл бұрын
All shot during a very large operations session. Cannot do everything you want to do. Was going back shortly for op session but due to current situation CV19 was all cancelled.

John, I personnel do not run or own any Athearn they have two many problems built in and there are too many good ones out there to buy. I run Atlas Intermountain, Kato, Presion, Broadway Limited, Proto Power by Life Like. I buy all with sound and DCC installed. If you can only afford one engine make it a good one. Sell old stuff and get a few good ones. Many of these engines on John Parker Layout are Intermountain. The factory and offices are right by his house and many of the employees play with his RR.

Oh man !!!!! A great railroad, great scenes, great detail work - photographed very poorly...... I wish you could use a tripod like most video people that really care about their viewers would...
