@@ChalkenYT I know I get that but I also understand that I did karate but in general this pops when your search Bo staff tutorial assuming someone dosent know how so it’s unlikely people did know and most didn’t understand and needed more help because this didn’t help them in the way they wanted

I know all three of them and they're self taught period with no video help or teacher. I've never actually seen someone do this in third person but I'm glad that I'm not the only one how to wrist roll

I really prefer to do figure eights without a hand roll as you have much more control that way. I only use the handover hand method when I’m spinning the staff with two hands typically.

Hi In Tamilnadu India we call this as silambam which is also used for fights , not only in Tamilnadu in many south states they do silambam We call that 8 figure as munsuththu

Good. But you must keep a tighter grip to ensure you keep your hand(s) stays centered at all times. Practice that early, then when you speed up you will not have developed a bad habit. Command the Bo Staff, dont go with the flow, control it.

I don’t know where exactly you’re located, but if you know of any bamboo spots, take you a little saw, cut you a piece of bamboo you can wrap it if you need to
