BO3 Origins FIRE STAFF GLITCH | Tutorial

This is the new strategy that me and other speedrunners are using on BO3 Origins. This trick will be useful whether or not you are speedrunning yourself, casually doing the easter egg or even high rounding. Let me know what else you want to see in this style.

Its still possible to dupe staffs when playing with others just have someone run near death experience and get him to buy a trap and sit in it and farm his res for about 30s and he keeps the staff and if you go down to crazy place it's just sat there and you can pick it up

0:44 you can also duplicate staffs on co op without gobble gums if all the players want the ice staff for example (I’ve only ever done with with upgraded staffs but u have done this with all of them and with all 4 players but it’s more difficult for all 4 players to get it because the timing has to be perfect) so this is how all 4 players can get the same staff, so 1 pick what staff everyone wants 2 have the staff of choice in the podium in the mound under pack a punch and then every player has to pick it up at the same time that’s it and since every player has to pick it up at the same time that’s why it’s more difficult for all 4 players to get it then let’s say 2 but I don’t know if it works with the podium in the crazy place but I know for a fact it works for the one under pack a punch I literally just got out of a game of origins on black ops 3 playing on my ps4 and the game was online me and my zombies buddy was doing a high round attempt but he had to leave for some reason but we both had the ice staff and I was sitting in the fire tunnel with the gramophone behind me with the portal open just so incase I get over run or I’m about to die I just run into the portal also it’s really good for when the zombies attack the generators too because sitting in the fire tunnel you can cover generator 1,2 and 3 but if the zombies do generator 4 go thru the portal and leave out the wind tunnel , if they attack generator 5 same thing go thru the portal but leave the crazy place through lightning and if they attack generator some thing but leave the crazy place through the ice tunnel you can catch any generator before it ends and get the max ammo but you have to be quick honestly what I do tho is when it’s a generator round like round 10 I instantly go through the fire tunnel and open the fire tunnel in the crazy place and run to the middle of the crazy place so you don’t have to go as far to get generator 4,5, or 6 but if it’s generator 1,2 or 3 just run back to the fire portal that you have opened already and just go to the generator and get the max ammo

idk if this is known or not or if this helps but when i was playing i was using the im feeling lucky gobble gum and every time i popped it i got a zombie blood, idk if that can be incorporated into runs with the step where you gotta shoot down the plane and kill the pilot, also if you stand in the mud area behind excavation looking towards gen 4 side when you shoot down the plane the pilot will spawn right on you.

Ok so when doing this I’m able to use 2 staffs which is cool but does it have to be the fire staff and one other. Or can you hold say ice + wind. Or lighting + ice. Also theoretically couldn’t you do this on DE in order to hold 2 Bows?

Yeah you can do it with whatever staffs you want, I’m just using fire here for the EE, I believe it does work on DE but i could be wrong

Doesn’t this mean you can technically hold three staffs at once after you do the glitch normally and get two of them set up again and lose your last weapon and trade out for a another staff I know in technical terms for speed running this wouldn’t be viable due to needing the pistol to do some jumps Who knows maybe it could be viable in certain situations but I definitely need to know if I can have three staffs in hand

Hey freckleston, I have a question about your 2p origins EE wr. On the step where you duplicated the wind staff and put them in the robot, you waited and pressed the button afterwards. My friend and I have gotten to this point but it says missiles out of range when one of us waits to press the button. Do you know why this could be?

Optimally, if you're in a group, all what you want to do is get in the robot, if it'sthe middle robot preferable immediatly at gen 5, and once you're inside the robot, just click the button, and then you trow the G-strike, just be careful with it, you want to aim your g-strike before the hole itself, since if you trow it too far of the map, you'll hear samanta laughing, which means you got it out of the "playable area". In this case just trow the G-strike again, but closer. You'll find the optimal trowing spot with a little bit of training

I can only assume that you were too slow rain firing after inserting the staffs, i dont think the timing is that tight but im also not sure why it failed for you

Yeah me neither, we have tried 10+ times and it doesn’t work for us. I wait in the robot just like you in your video but it doesn’t crack the seal after I press the button and my Buddy throws g-strikes

I’m the duo partner. In the WR video, the duo completes the Ascend from darkness step then has one player leave the robot while the other one remains in the robot. The player in the robot waits for the button to show up and then does the Rain Fire step immediately without having to wait for 3 robot cycle to start. They always do this by duplicating fire staff and wind staff for the 4 placements required. We tried doing this to make our time faster but it seems it wouldn’t let us do it even with the correct button press and g-strike throw. Like Ethan said we get a message from the robot that it’s out of range.

For me personally, I feel like it's the Moon Tunnel 11 High round spot, I get level 1 to 35 (1,375,000 xp I think) in about 4 hrs more or less depending on box luck it's so fast.

Self med is what saves you, and I believe you get a few seconds of invincibility after being revived by self med to run over to the part you’d jump onto from the tank which deactivates the death barrier there

It's hard for me to help without actually watching but all i can say is its very very important which weapon you're holding out at specific times especially in the crazy place, so make sure you copy literally everything

This isnt true, there is a case where the trick can "break" and this happens when you trade out a self med for another self med, if this happens you have to trade out the boomhilda
