@@TheScrappyCrappy Honestly what i found to be the best is that when you're in the boss fight, you can do two swipes for damage and then block and his stomp is negated completely. Paired with incantations for the special/elite zombies its really an easy run.

How do you not take much damage when swording the boss? Is it like durable plates or sometbing cuz I melee same way you do and plates go down fast

​​​​​​​​@@dalegarza4198the reason he doesn't explain is because every speedrunner from freckleston to cappy to steve all get asked this question almost every day, and you can imagine they probably get annoyed by it. But I don't blame you because it does seem weird the first time you see it. The way it works is that the stomp move has a weird hitbox, where if you stand in a very specific position, it won't do any damage to you. It's basically a 'blind spot' in the hitbox and is clearly not intended by the devs. Speedrunners can't elaborate much on how it works because the exact positioning is hard to explain and you can only learn it through trial and error and getting a 'feel' for it. This is why even in this video he sometimes gets hit and sometimes doesn't. Because the exact location of the blind spot is very hard to consistently be in. Treyarch might patch this in the future as it definitely counts as an exploit. Unless you're a speedrunner there is no benefit in learning this trick, as it requires hours and hours of random guessing. I've tried it in my runs and I only hit the 'blind spot' maybe 1 out of 5 times during the fight. It's just not worth the effort.

@@dalegarza4198I did a bunch of runs today figuring it out, make sure you have the right augments when practicing, but if you position yourself just in front of his left shoe there is about a 2by2 foot sweet spot where you don’t get hit

As val shoots way faster so it probably dead wire faster. Void sword just does a ton of damage to boss. And nah i didn't watch Steve's vid, pretty sure it came out around when I was playing this game
