IIRC the funding quickly thing benefits Kickstarters in the algorithm. The quicker the thing funds the more likely it is to show up in ads etc.

I've been following the new version of Last Aurora since it was announced in May. Per their announcement page there will be an upgrade pack for the original once the Frostlands version is kick-founded

Eggs are now Packing Peanuts Habitats are now Recipients: Forest - Family Grassland - Friends Wetland - Coworkers The wingspan shown on the card is now called box size (in cubic inches) Predator Bird - Shoplifter Nests are now Delivery Methods: Platform - In person Bowl - Under the Tree Cavity - Secret Santa Ground - Shipped Abilities: When Played - When Wrapped When Activated - If Opened Once Between Turns - same name Round End - same name Game End - same name The 4 Actions: Play One Bird - Wrap a Present Gain Food - Gather Wrapping Materials Lay Eggs - Add Packing Peanuts Draw Cards - Collect More Presents 'Tuck a card' is now 'Hide a Present' 'Cache a food on this card' is now 'store the material on this present' All that remains is redoing the hundreds of bird cards for hundreds of presents and making sure all the bonus cards are revised to be equally balanced and still make thematic sense. -Bryan
