Azul is a very simple tile placement board game, in which you'll draft tiles from a central supply and place them on your board, with the goal of building the most complete mozaic by the end of the game. Drafting tiles from a factory causes the tiles you didn't choose to fall to the floor, where someone else could claim them, along with any other unclaimed tiles of the same color all at once. The order you fill in your mozaic matters for scoring, too, as you'll get more points depending on how many contiguous adjacent tiles are in the same row or column touching the tile you're placing, along with bonus points for complete columns, rows, and sets. Easy to learn, easy to teach, with a lot of room for strategy and a little bit of luck.
