loll I JUST received this game as a gift for the holidays ( I did not ask for it, but I was still positively surprised and curious upon receiving it) and I told myself as soon as I got home "would be cool if Scott made a video about it....I'll check just to be sure" ....and then BAM!! here it is!! can't wait to watch it! Scott, I think the the whole point of the cathedral model is for thematic reasons, as in the the book the cathredral takes many years to build so this is demonstrating the passing of time to players. Just thought there might have been some confusion there. Love the show by the way.

Why so hard on the wooden cathedral? Sure, it's a turn marker. But there's nothing wrong with it? Do you think it would make the game cheaper if they left it out? You can just not use it. Me, I put stickers on the pieces. Now we're building an even prettier church! This game is one of my favorites, has been for years. The two sequels are also very good, and even the card game! But just one complaint: I can never find the expansion to Pillars for a normal price...
