Board Nose Protectors | Unifiber Windsurfing Accessories

After 11 years I’m starting windsurfing again. I’ve bought a Duotone jag sls 128 and I’m a bit worried to damage the nose of the board with a catapult. I’ll definitely use some protection as you mentioned. But can the nose of the board brake completely with a very bad catapult despite the protection?

That has to be a rather severe catapult for the nose of the board to break off completely. But it might crack. In fact, when the mast or a boom smashes into the board, it almost certainly cracks. However, there is a technique to avoid it to a degree - letting go of the back hand when crashing. And the nose protectors would take care of the rest:)
